Biography
In Greg's youth he studied under the prominent local artist, LeMaxie Glover for three years in Toledo
Ohio, and while serving in the Army, he painted murals and abstract paintings.
After 30 years of railroad service, he was forced to retire in 1997. In 2002 he moved to Cape Coral,
Florida, where he became an active member of the Pine Island Art Association as well as the Cape Coral
Art League. He served as an officer in both leagues.
Greg's work is displayed in California, Ohio, Florida, and Michigan. He has been awarded numerous
1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mentions and a Merit within the short period of his painting experience.
Several Cape Coral and Ft Myers newspapers have written feature articles covering his work, as well as the Catawba Island.
Magazine in Port Clinton, Ohio (Catawba Island Township).
In 2017 Greg and his wife moved back to the Toledo area to be close to family.
